Sitges, much more than a holiday destination
The surroundings of the hotel are impregnated with an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance.
Route of the Americans
The Modernist Route allows you to explore the legacy of Modernism in Sitges. This route stands out thanks to the initiatives of Santiago Rusiñol i Prats, one of the main exponents of this movement in Catalonia, and the contribution of the so-called "Americans" (Sitgetans who returned wealthy from the Spanish colonies and beautified the streets of the town with their modernist style homes).
Garraf Natural Park
Garraf Park is located between the regions of Bajo Llobregat, Alto Penedés and Garraf, in the southwestern part of the Catalan coastal mountain range. It borders the lower Llobregat basin, the Mediterranean Sea and the Penedés depression.
It covers an area of 12,820 hectares. This natural park is made up of two main geological units: one of calcareous rocks and dolomites, and another of a small strip of reddish stoneware at its eastern end.
Sitges beach
Along the coast of Sitges we find a total of 17 beaches, both inside and outside the municipality. Each one has its characteristics and offers the necessary services.
There are small and large beaches, quiet coves, family-friendly, naturist and urban beaches, all accessible on foot. Six of these beaches have received the ISO 14,001 certificate for the quality of the water and sand, as well as for their cleaning, rescue, lifeguard and continuous improvement services.
Cau Ferrat Museum - Maricel
The Cau Ferrat Museum, located in Sitges, is a biographical museum located in the house and studio of the painter and writer Santiago Rusiñol, one of the main figures of modernism in Catalonia. It opened its doors in 1933.
Can Llopis Romantic Museum
Can Llopis is a neoclassical construction with a very simple exterior façade. In 1793, Josep Bonaventura Falç, belonging to one of the most traditional families in Sitges, built a new home outside the walled area. Later, the Falçs joined with another family from Sitges, the Llopis, and the house acquired the name it has today.
